Although not really a concoction, a mess can still be fun with a can of shaving cream purchased at the dollar store.
I used to make them sit at the table and then clean them off. Not this time...
Within two minutes of shedding their tee shirts and spraying the shaving cream on the table, I had a little boy who looked like this:
and another boy losing interest and opting instead to go do this.
So where do you send a messy boy to clean up? Check out the white in the water.
After wiping off his face, it took Noah about 12 more times down the slide before he actually got clean.
Oh to be young again.

We're definitely going to try playing with shaving cream this summer! :)
Oh, that sounds like such FUN! Maybe I'll let my boys have the same thrill this summer.
I remember sneaking my dad's shaving cream a couple of times as a kid, and doing that very same thing. I can still remember the lime scent, lol.
That's a great way to clean up!
Looks like loads of fun!
How fun...wish I could have been there in person to experience the fun first hand! Looks like the boys really got into the shaving cream... if they like it now think about in about 10 years when they may be using it every day!
How fun! You are a very cool mom.
I bet they had a blast! And best of all they smelled so fresh after playing all day outside! Hmmmm! Your on to something there!
Looks like they had a great time!
NOW that looks like FUN!!!!
That looks like so much fun! You all must be having the best summer!

Hummm,,,
I wonder if the shaving cream helps the boys get cleaner-- or just more time spent in the water?
I think I might use the shaving cream on my sons' feet-- they never seem to get clean enough!
Thanks for the idea!
To be young again, indeed...
That kiddie pool looks like a blast!
I tried three times to leave a comment on this post the other day and blogger was not cooperating with me. Lets try again!

I need a pool like that for when my grand-kids come over. They look like they are loving it.
