Warning: Major complaining ahead
So usually on Tackle It Tuesday, I list the many things I am hoping to accomplish that day.
Not today.
After the last two nights of sleeping on the floor in the living room because of stomach pain, I think today I will just try to survive. Last night was brutal. Right around 9:00, the ickies started coming back and I knew I was in for a long night. I swear it was worse than labor...coming in waves. For some reason, the only thing that works is Children's Maalox, which is what I finally broke down and took around 10:30. Things then started subsiding as long as I didn't stand up. For some reason, the floor feels better than the bed.
So, about 5:00 in the morning, I returned to the bed and slept until 7:45. The kids were already bouncing around in the living room by the time I got up and the neighbor kids just arrived for the day. There is a magic show at the library at 10:30 that will amuse the kids for awhile and I know that there will probably be more television today than I would normally allow. Like I said...survival.
UGH!
I have not thrown up, nor do I have a fever, so I hope I am not passing on anything to these innocents. I just need to get through the day and pray this passes. Teaching tonight will be interesting.
Have I mentioned that I HATE being sick!

Have you had your gallbladder checked?
I had those symptoms and ended up in the hospital for a week...
Stay off all fat and dairy.

I'm so sorry it's been so bad for you lately. TV is ok when mom feels awful. Alex learned to make lunch the last time I was really sick. Feel better soon.
I am so sorry hun!! I hope you feel much better very quickly.
We are heading to the Grandville Library at 10am for Lap Time! :)
Uggghhh...I am so sorry you are feeling pretty crappy (you love my wording don't you?) Hugs to you and I hope you start feeling better soon!
Oh, sorry your not feeling well! Get some rest and feel better soon :)
I had the similar symptoms a few years ago- turned out it was my gallbladder. A year after my last baby was born, I ate a bratwurst at a BBQ. Ugghhh..the agony. I didn't know what it was, until I consulted Dr. Google and my doc concurred when I finally saw her and we got an ultrasound. Should have gone in sooner.
I guess those hormones can cause you to form gall stones. I was miserable!! The pain was ridiculous. I eventually had my gall bladder removed (easy) when they were removing some other of my parts (sigh).
I am hoping you just got some kid crud.... the flu is making a comeback around here. A crying shame this happens right when school gets out. Hope you feel better soon!
So sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Sending 'get well soon' hugs and wishes your way!
Well, I know it's not your gallbladder! I hope that you're feeling better soon and that you can get through teaching tonight ok. Do you still need me to watch the boys tomorrow?
Amber and I are meeting at the park tonight at 6:30 if Steve wants to bring the boys... I'll just have Becca with me though.
Take care of yourself!!
Yikes...I definitely would not want the pain you are mentioning. I hope that you are feeling better soon!
That does not sounds good. I hope it gets better soon.
