Summer at Summer's Nook did a fun "Labor" Day post that I thought would be fun. Here's how it goes:
How long were your labors?
Both boys were about 7 and a half hours
How Did you know you were in labor?
Noah- My water broke at Walmart on the way to the fireworks
Aaron- My water broke at the library about an hour after my doctor "stripped the membranes". My neighbor was shocked when I took Noah over there so I could drive myself to the hospital. I knew I had a few hours before things were really going to get rockin'.
Where and how did you deliver?
Both boys were vaginal with IV drugs (I was scared of an epidural both times around). Aaron's was much more dramatic but I'll share that in October. They were both at the same hospital that has now been demolished. We went and watched some demo one day and I was actually a little sad.
Birth Stats?
Noah 7 lbs 6 ounces at 4:33 AM, 2 weeks early
Aaron 8 lbs 1 ounce at 7:01 PM, 2 days late
Both were 20 inches long
Happy Labor Day and let me know if you do this one.

I passed on an award to you at my place.
We're heading to the beach for the afternoon, but to answer your questions...
Boy #1, water broke, labor induced the next day, born 21 hours after water broke, no drugs, 2 weeks early, 6 lbs 14 oz, 20 inches.
Boy #2, in labor for 18 hours, starting when I woke up in the morning, water didn't break until delivery, no drugs, 2 weeks early, only 5 lbs 12 oz, 20 inches.
Boy #3, in labor for 22 hours, starting when I woke up one morning, water didn't break until delivery the next morning, no drugs, 7 lbs 4 oz, 19 inches.
All born at the hospital.
Fun times ;)
Have a good holiday!
I tried IV drugs with my first and they just didn't do anything except make me feel loopy.
that's a cool idea... fun to read!
Love reading about births. I probably should have been an OB or a midwife. :)
Hmmm, my meme didn't include birth stats. Oh well. Tiny peanuts fits it. Way smaller than your babies!
